In a period of less than five months Carter has learned to coo, caw, roll over, eat cereal, move to his own bedroom, cry for attention, laugh on command, shake a rattle, pay attention to a certain toy, see colors, pull his mother's hair, drink from a sippy cup and steal the hearts of all who come in contact with him. Of course, these goals I speak of are merely simple feats nearly all children posess. But they, in my mind, are more powerful and celebretory than any accomplishment an adult can make.
